

A B Hire is an established, family owned and run Party and Catering Equipment hire business which has been established for over 20 years. We provide catering equipment for a variety of occasions and customers from private individuals to caterers and large corporations.
This is how it works:
Orders can we placed by telephone, fax, e-mail, post or here on line. An order confirmation or quotation will be e-mailed, faxed or posted to you.
The hire charge is for 72 hours or from Friday to Monday. Extra days are charged at 20% per day. A deposit of £50 or 10% is taken upon booking and is refundable after the function, minus the cost of any missing items. The total hire charge is due 2 weeks before the function. Therefore, prior to your function the booking deposit plus the hire charge will have been paid in full. Any late bookings (equipment subject to availability) are due for payment immediately.
All of our equipment is washed and sterilised prior to each hire and is then packed in special boxes to maintain cleanliness. We will accept equipment returned rinsed and placed under running water, leaving no food or drink on the equipment. The items can then be placed in the special packing boxes wet. This will not cost any extra. If however you wish to return the hire equipment dirty there is an additional charge of 30%. All food must be removed and all glasses must be empty.
Payment can be made by credit/debit card or cheque.
Delivery and collection is charged in addition to the hire and the cost is dependant upon postcode. Customers are welcome to collect and return their orders themselves. Please telephone or check here on our website for prices.
The customer has the responsibility to insure the equipment and pay for all missing and broken items.

Method of Payment & Deposits: Mastercard, Visa & Switch etc. are acceptable for payment. We require a booking deposit of £50.00 or 10% of the hire, whichever is the greater. This is fully refundable assuming the hire is not cancelled within 30 days of the event. Full payment is required prior to the event and the deposit continues to be held against losses and breakages until the hire items have been fully checked on return to our premises.
Rates: Hire rates quoted are for a 72-hour period or weekend hire. For weekend hire, collection by the customer or delivery by our transport may be made on Friday and returned the following Monday
Extended Hire: For one week the charge is twice the 72 hour rate. For longer periods please ask for a quotation.
Transport: We transport hire products using our experienced staff in specialist vehicles. Transport is charged as an extra cost according to postcode. Please ask for a quotation.
